WHY COPPER SPARK PLUGS ON OUR ENGINES?

That was the OE Factory design. While newer spark plug versions, like aluminum, iridium, platinum and more may last longer themselves, they are less conductive and could overheat. This effects the older style big engines and their performance. Copper is the best conductor so far, they may not last longer, but your engine will thank you. We rather replace the spark plugs more often to get top performance from our engines.
